I have been in the web field for over 10 years, and my experience spans the gamut of tasks involved in web design, development, implementation, and maintenance. Through on-the-job learning, self-directed learning, and the occasional course, I have become quite skilled in this field. My greatest asset is my ability to figure out pretty much anything. What I most enjoy is organizing information so that it is easy to use.
I worked as webmaster at the Center for Applied Linguistics (CAL) for five years and still work as a consultant for CAL. I did the heavy lifting on a major site redesign in 2006 and helped design and build out many subsidiary sites. I've also worked on the Web sites of a number of nonprofits in the DC area as well as New Century College at George Mason University.
