Content provider
Provides research and first draft of content, including citations. Works with secondary editor to refine content and does additional research as needed. Works with secondary editor to work N/K/S comments into draft.
Section editor
Works with content provider to refine written product. Ensures that product makes sense and reads well. Determines if further research or data is needed. Rewrites as needed. Refines citations. Works with content providers to work N/K/S comments into draft.
Document editor
Pulls together the pieces of the document. Makes sure pieces fit, make sense, read well together, and that all requirements of the document have been addressed. Rewrites as needed. Ensures that all team and N/K/S comments are addressed.
Quality Assurance
Gives final close proofreading of document, ensuring proper grammar, punctuation, and usage. Checks citations. Ensures that document is in alignment with stylesheet. Formats document.
